I LOVE to make shadowboxes for wedding keepsakes etc - I usually dry the bride's bouquet and other flowers and make wedding shadowboxes with the flowers and invitations, and other keepsakes from the bride - and give them to the bride as an extra gift.

I've done this for baby's baptisms and other occasions too. I have about 10 tupperware containers full of dried roses in silica gel right now - just waiting for me to have the time to make them into shadowboxes.

Now I can do this digitally! How cool is that! And you can too!

New Kits + Free Samplers

Lots to catch up on. Here are some new kits in my store and a FREE sampler from my latest one. And a FREE sampler kit available for my Techniques Challenge this month.

I have a FREE Sampler for you from my NEW Mom's Diner Christmas add on kit that was added to my store this week. The kit is on sale for 20% for $3.20, includes 8 papers, 22 elements, and 26 large gingerbread cookie alphas. This kit coordinates with the colors and vintage theme of the rest of my Mom's Diner collection of products.

My personal favorite in this kit is the Christmas wreath. I made this years ago from some vintage Christmas kitchen collectibles I had. Sometimes when I am in the mood, I have had a little tree in my kitchen with vintage cookie cutters, and use vintage Christmas aprons and other things as decorations. Will have to wait for the cookie cutters and aprons for next year. They are buried in storage with the rest of my Christmas decorations.

But I do have some other vintage collectibles in this kit for you. Only 2 of the papers have Christmas theme, the rest can be used year round.

Well the snow finally stopped, and the sun is out today. I think we ended up with about 9 or 10 inches of snow. But with the sun and the temp going up, the snow won't be here for long. The grandkids are still going to have to wear boots tomorrow.

I think my grandchildren are going to be hunting inside for Easter eggs this weekend...and wearing snow boots on Sunday with their pretty Easter clothes.

Wow - I have been busy this past week.

I have partnered with Andrea Gold on a brag book exchange - with my Mom's Diner kits and her new recipe templates, I have launched a new Techniques Challenge for March at GDS, and I have some freebies for you at the bottom of this post.

Fifth Grandchild Born Thursday night

Hello everyone. This is going to be a sweet ride here in blog land. This is my first blog entry on my new blog - and there will be lots more to come.

I will be publishing news about my digital designs, sharing freebies, and sharing fabulous layouts by my creative team members. So please come back and visit as I get this launched and going.
